Help create a vision for a healthy and connected Quassaick Creek Greenway.

The Newburgh Waterways Center is sponsoring a free kayaking event on Muchattoes Lake on Sunday, September 8, in conjunction with Scenic Hudson’s Quassaick Creek Fest. The goal is to raise awareness about Quassaick Creek and the plan for a trail along the creek.

What: Paddle with the Newburgh Rowing Club and the Quassaick Creek Watershed Alliance

Where: 65 Lake Street, Newburgh, New York

When: September 8, 11 am–3 pm

Other activities are planned for the day (9 am–3 pm): learn to fish, take a hike, participate in a movement workshop, or attend the Creek Fest community party.
