We had an awesome time racing on August 17 down in Cortlandt! This adult scrimmage capped off the first full year of the Newburgh Waterways Center—which witnessed huge growth in membership and activism—and was the first regatta that we’ve trailered to since the transition in management. We want to thank Cortlandt Community Rowing Association for hosting the event, Rondout Rowing Club for joining us out on the water, and Orange County Rowing Association for supporting our unifying mission. We’d also like to acknowledge Butler Construction Group for generously providing a capable truck to tow our trailer, as well as both Captain Lawrence Brewing and Industrial Arts Brewing for supplying beer for the postrace festivities!

Our next event will be Sunday, September 22, right here in Newburgh! We look forward to hosting everyone at the Ward Brothers Community Boathouse on the Newburgh waterfront!
